El propio Popeye admiti\u00f3 su responsabilidad directa en unos 300 asesinato, principalmente en Bogot\u00e1 y Medell\u00edn.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Se calcula su participaci\u00f3n intelectual en la muerte de unas tres mil personas. Estuvo tras las rejas 23 a\u00f1os y sali\u00f3 en libertad en 2014. Desde entonces brind\u00f3 pol\u00e9micas declaraciones en las que aceptaba su rol dentro del Cartel de Medell\u00edn y hasta lleg\u00f3 a crear su propio canal de YouTube.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En 2018, volvi\u00f3 a prisi\u00f3n por los detenidos de extorsi\u00f3n.
