Sin embargo, el origen de la celebraci\u00f3n se remonta mucho m\u00e1s atr\u00e1s en el tiempo y est\u00e1 directamente relacionado con las luchas por la independencia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La jornada fue elegida en homenaje al nacimiento de&nbsp;<strong>Fray Luis Beltr\u00e1n&nbsp;<\/strong>, ocurrido el 7 de septiembre de 1784 en San Juan.&nbsp;Sacerdote franciscano, militar y autodidacta, es considerado el&nbsp;<strong>primer metal\u00fargico argentino<\/strong>&nbsp;por el trabajo que desarroll\u00f3 al servicio del Ej\u00e9rcito de los Andes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Beltr\u00e1n ingres\u00f3 al convento de San Francisco de Mendoza cuando ten\u00eda 16 a\u00f1os y posteriormente complet\u00f3 su formaci\u00f3n religiosa en Chile. All\u00ed comenz\u00f3 a familiarizarse con diferentes oficios, herramientas y conocimientos t\u00e9cnicos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Su capacidad trascendi\u00f3 ampliamente su formaci\u00f3n eclesi\u00e1stica.
